Rev. Lenore A. Artis "Called of God, Chosen of the Lord & Anointed by the Holy Ghost!" THE CALL TO MINISTRY ~ ELDER LENORE A. ARTIS accepted the Lord as her personal Saviour at the tender age of eight. At the age of fifteen, she heard the voice of the Lord summoning her to a life of service and like the child Samuel her answer was, "Speak Lord for thy servant heareth Thee." MINISTRY PROFILE ~ REV. L.A. ARTIS is an anointed consecrated, compassionated, humble and dedicated vessel of the Lord. The Lord hath placed in her mouth a mighty prophetic, bold and fresh Word for such a time as this. She is mightily graced with the gift of demonstration. She preaches in a way that is easy to understand and yet, permeating her unique preaching style are intellectually compelling commentary, revolutionary insights, revelation knowledge, parabolic teaching, and contemporary practical applications founded in the timeless tenets of faith, righteousness and holiness. She is the founder and CEO of L.A. Artis Ministries, Inc. an evangelistic and counseling ministry with a special focus on women and youth. The ministry was incorporated in the State of New Jersey on September 17, 2002 with her mother Lady Grace J. Smith and her husband serving as charter members, board executives and trustees. CHURCH MEMBERSHIP - ELDER L.A. ARTIS is a faithful life-long member of Union Gospel Tabernacle of Newark, Inc - United Holy Church of America located at 756 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Newark, NJ 07102. She is an ordained elder and licensed minister in good standing with the United Holy Church of America, Inc. When she is not out traveling ministering the Gospel, she can be found faithfully serving her church as an altar worker, prayer warrior and intercessor. AUTHOR - Rev. Artis is a gifted author. She is an award winning author whose poetry and essays have been featured in literary anthologies. She has penned a powerful and revolutionary book entitled, "DARK BLESSING - The Power, Joy and Blessings that are Released BECAUSE of the Dark Times In Your Life" . The book is part teaching, part testimony but all TRIUMPHANT. At its conclusion, all are able to authoritatively declare that, "God is with you, YES EVEN IN THE DARK"! She writes a monthly inspirational column called "The Artis Touch" for PreachingWoman.com to inspire and encourage women in ministry the world over. There is healing oil in her pen. She preaches throughout the Hispanic/Spanish community with the aid of her beloved sister in Christ, Pastor Margarita Ocasio. Artis has been highly honored to have been the first woman to preach in pulpits across the United States. The Lord has given her a relevant Word for the youth as well as a heart -- better yet, a BURNING PASSION for the souls of this GENERATION! CHARITIBLE WORK & COMMUNITY SERVICE - REV. ARTIS' love for people has gone outside of the walls of the church. She has participates in walks to cure Breast Cancer, Developmental Disorders and Pediatric A.I.D.S. She has gone on to establish "The Ephaphata Foundation" affectionately known as "LAMBSPEAK" to help to provide education, therapy and treatment and support for children struggling to acquire speech, communication and language skills. She is determined to break the "THUNDEROUS SILENCE" these children and their families face with therapy, love, support and prayer. GLOBAL MANDATE - Through revivals, conferences, seminars and retreats her cutting edge ministry has touched, impacted and changed thousands. Her powerful messages of salvation, healing and deliverance are attracting an international audience.
